Wallets with coin department definitely not slim unless it's outside

I agree with this. That is why I carry a coin purse as well.

Another reason to buy more leather products (although my current one is a gift)

If you have the budget, go custom. U can then dictate the specs you want!

Hmmm.. I've never thought of that before. Could you kindly give me some pointers or nudge me towards the right direction to start exploring this route?
Thanks!

Usually for bespoke items, you will just contact the crafter directly (email, phone, Instagram etc) and just let them know what are your specifications (design, type of leather, thread color, number of pockets, lining option, edge burnishing etc). What I think are tell-tale signs of a good crafter: clean, straight stitching, nicely finished edges (whether edge painted or naturally burnished), clean products, knowledgeable about different types of leathers.

The crafter should be able and willing to advise you on what works and what doesn't, so it's really like a consultation process. It would be helpful if you approach with a design or picture of something that is closest to what you want, and tell the crafter what you want to change with that design (maybe it is just the leather color, maybe you want an ID slot instead of a normal card slot).

Pricing wise, expect to pay more since it is made exactly to your specifications, and the crafter might not have a pre-existing template to work off so he/she will take more time to plan how to make the item, draw out some patterns, and then figure out the steps to making the item. For wallets it is usually quite standard in terms of steps, but for more complex items (bags for example) it will take a lot of planning to get everything right.

TLDR: Know what you want to make, find a good crafter by looking at their previous works/reviews, send in a design or description, get a quote, send payment, wait, receive bespoke item and :)

A good wallet is important.
Sometimes I am in a rush. I will put things into a pocket.
Sometimes, things like notes, card, pen keep coming out.
Recently, I even lost my Pink IC!
Don't have the habit of putting things back to my wallet.

Hello everyone! It's been awhile. I thought I'd share some fun projects I've worked on recently.

I just recently released a new product inspired by an old watch bracelet I purchased from a local craft store about 10 years ago. They are button stud watch straps or can be used as bracelets as well. Adjustable to fit almost any wrist in 4 widths (18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm) with 3 different hardware types (Solid Brass, Nickel, and Black). Very pleased with how these turned out!

A beautiful card wallet (Buckler model) in Horween Bourbon Shell Cordovan with a nice stamp on the inside:

A uniquely amazing combination of Horween Violet Shell Cordovan and Natural Dublin Horsehide:

...and finally, a new arrival of some amazing leather from the Guidi tannery in Italy. This is Natural Calfskin that feels buttery soft and works very well for accessories:

I hope to share more soon!

Thoughts on MAKR ? thinking of getting a wallet from there.

If you are looking for something like this, I don't think it is worth it. The leather they use, if it is what they say it is (Wickett and Craig Veg Tan), is definitely decent. But for US$185, you can get a custom made wallet out of leather that's equally good as what they use, but handsewn (which is stronger), fully lined and with even more card slots. Heck, you can even go for the Ashland Shell Cordovan Massdrop Wallet!

There are many talented leather craftsman in Singapore. A leather supplier recently set up shop too, bringing in a ton of European leather that's top-grade stuff at a very decent price, so I believe the leather scene in SG will get even more crowded in the years to come as more people pick up this hobby.
