Where to buy these wallets?Got quite a few request for wallet with snap button coin pouch. A mix of chevre and a newly discovered leather, Rugato. It comes from the Belgium tannery, Masure. Available in some of the primary colours - this one is made of black Rugato. It has a beautiful glossy finish, firm texture even at thin weights. Probably my new favourite smooth leather - ordered it in a few more colours (navy, orange).
The other wallet has a Rocado Navy Shell Cordovan exterior, with a Navy chevre interior. Navy definitely seems to be a crowd favourite colour!

Any bro here knows how to fix this? I have a small portion of the rubber edge chipped off.
would like to find out too. same thing happened to some of my wallets.
Best way is to re do the edges... Iirc it's called burnishing
Quite unfortunate but these kind of edges are very commonly seen on poorly produced wallets. It is a function of using lousy leather (many many different layers of non-leather bonded together) and poor construction (lack of glue, low quality/very thin layer of paint).
Burnishing is one way to finish the edges of veg-tanned products. Basically you are flattening the layers of leather until it is smooth. This can be done for products that are stitched well and glued properly, such that the many different layers of leather look like the same leather.

Example of burnished edge of shell cordovan
But what we are looking at here is not veg-tan leather, which means you cannot burnish it. Instead, you need to paint the edges with edge paint. This will form another layer over the leather, binding the layers together and also act as a protection for the leather. You have to first glue the layers together, apply the edge paint product, wait for the first layer to dry, sand it to even out the paint, apply the next layer, and repeat until you are happy with the smoothness of the edge. Very time consuming process, if done properly!

Red painted edges here
Thanks Nightawl! Very informative!
As for the edge paint, I did a quick Google on what it is. Do you mean something like Fiebing's Edge Enamel or Edge Kote?
Edge Kote is an edge paint, not sure about edge enamel. But Fiebing's one aren't the best stuff. What I use is Vernis, but there's also Giardini, Fenice, Uniters, Stahl. If you want to try it out, Europelle SG sells Giardini in smaller bottles.
recently I am into really slim wallet...after I gotten a super thick leather wallet for a short while I really hate big fat wallet..
any to intro, with genuine leather, and able to hold 8 to 10 cards (no need 8 slot, just need to slot 8 - 10 cards into 1 compartment is ok also.)
bellroy 10 char
Is it advisable to put 2 cards in 1 card slot?
My wallet only got 6 slots and I want to put up to 12 cards
