If you're lazy until can't take out your wallet from back pocket before taking a seat then don't be surprise that your wallet don't last. You use any brand also the same.

LV is crap. Never put in back pocket, still cannot last more than 5 years. Threads started to come out in year 4.... leather started to peel... chui chui....

You want durable get a shell cordovan wallet.

So far, I think as long as u don't sit on ur wallet, it will last long. My 3 year old montblanc still look as good as 3 years

Hello, I am looking for suggestions if anyone has you bought leather wallets from Braun Buffel? Is it a good brand? I really liked the design and colors of this brand but am not sure buying it online. If anyone of you can guide me for it.

Depends on ur preference. I don’t like money clip. Kind of not very secure to me and exposing ur wealth. Lol. But that is just me. If you are in Singapore, you really only need 2 days. Driving license and a credit card.

Prefer a proper wallet. Able to store more stuff and the cash is not as obvious as compared to money clips.

Yes, Braun Buffel is really of good quality. I also have the same brand for my wallet and bought it online using discounts. It proved to be so affordable and long-lasting. Its been around 1.5 years that I have been using it. and it still continues to move...

My dad has a gator skin wallet which he bought from Thailand like some 20 years ago. It still looks fantastic generally.

I'm also looking at the alligator wallet. Does it require special care to maintain them?

Afaik gator skin wallets no need special care. I don't see my dad giving his gator wallet any special TLC or treatment.

The following are based on what my dad shared with me.

An occasion wipe with a lightly damp cloth soaked in warm water would be fine.
If it is still dirty, use the appropriate alligator skin cleanser.

And then Use petroleum-free leather conditioning cream.

In case your wallet drops into water or soak in excessive water...

The very first thing to do is to remove as much excess water as possible with a dry soft towel or soft cleaning cloth

Next, hang them out to dry completely but avoid direct sunlight and direct heat source (hair dryer, hand dryer etc)

Once the wallet is completely dry, apply the recommended conditioning cream to protect the leather.
