anyone using hermes wallet? good or not?

hermes and BV mens wallets are quieter series of wallets, because most designs dont have logo at the front... so you dont attract unnecessary attention, especially travelling overseas.

hermes tend to use more exotic leathers like deer, ostrich, gator and lizard. Therefore its very durable and tough. I have a colleague who used hermes mens wallet for over 5 years, deer skin, condition still very good

previously I thought of getting a hermes mens wallet but its WAY above my price point >.<.

that's the interesting thing about their wallets. they look different under different lighting.

Mine actually look black when the guy took the photo in BV italy boutique, turned out to be brown

Seems like a Medium sized wallet... judging by the width of the two cash slots...
should be able to put in our SGD$1000 note or SGD$10,000 note with ease

I remember buying a similar medium sized Braun Buffel wallet as present for my cousin's 18 yo b/day

but HERMES HERMES... currently is completely out of my price range *sob sob* like 3 times the pricing of my BV
BV good enough for me now hahaha

thanks for sharing...think wallets are usually very durable and under S$2K so since you are already buying branded wallets, should be easy to just spend a little more for the hermes as the cost is amortised over many years. problem is finding one you like in stock.

even then, very hard to find available stks at hermes boutiques and online stores. been looking for a while...

gave up on local boutique...always no stock/selection for belt buckles, birkin/kelly bags, twilly, bearn wallet etc. - only good for changing belts bought from overseas

even online also have to camp there to see if stocks are available for a very short period

hermes really knows how to play the shortage game better than apple

cannot afford exotic skins...but even normal wallets, also hard to get. my friend trying to get bearn wallet for so long, always no stock. online occasionally popup but wrong colour.

but 2-3X is nothing in the grand scheme of things when the wallet can last a few years
