Hi guys. I am looking to get omega constellation ladies quartz preowned about 10 over years.

For longevity, do you do servicing for quartz watches? If so, can recommend any good master? I don't think K2 service quartz right?

Thanks for reading

I say just go to omega do it one time good servicing. Battery change as soon as the hands stopped.

My wife's constellation also 10+ yrs old. Batt died we didnt change till later. End up movement also spoil. Repair costs $800+?

Ouch! Issit due to battery leak? Anyway it's a lovely watch once endorsed by Cindy Crawford. got it for my wife and want to ensure she can enjoy it for many years. Will go ask omega. Thanks

just saw ur respond, thanks for the detailed explanation

so should i go for new rolex or used?
used rolex sub 16610 is abt 7650 no box or cert..unsure dated when

unless you're averse or it's really a milestone watch to celebrate a significant event in your life, buying pre-owned can save you a pretty penny.

try to buy one with box & warranty papers/card if possible.

for me, I'd rather pay a slight premium for the newer 114060/116610 subs with their way better clasp than the older 14060/16610 with the el-cheapo stamp metal clasp.

$7,650 for a used 16610 (aluminum bezel) is daylight robbery!

you can get a used 114060 rolex sub (no date) with ceramic bezel bought after Jul 2015 (ie. eligible for 5 yr rolex warranty) for a couple hundred more with box & papers if you browse around the for sale sections of swx.com.sg
