I think workmanship wise, squale is slightly better. Steinhart OT500 was the rage a few months back though, w the soprod A10 movt. Faps

my friend stein hart 0t500 had a tight rotor causing insufficient charging during normal usage. the PR less than desire. he could not be bother to fix it as yet... not sure if this adds datapoint to the QC

Depends on your wrist size I guess? Mines about 7.5 inches wide.

Here are some photos for size.

Why not make a trip to gnomon watches and try it on?
Thanks for the photos! Yeah I'll make a trip to gnomon to try it on soon. Already poisoned by pictures!

imho, besides case diameter, there're other factors that cause a watch to wear either big/small:

- dial diameter. a dress watch with a thin bezel will wear bigger than a diver with the same case size but thicker bezel. compare say a Frederique constant dress watch vs a rolex diver.
- lug-to-lug length. a watch with short or even no lugs (like the Seiko tunas) allows a larger case size to wear smaller than one with overhanging lugs.
- case thickness. a thick watch will wear bigger.
- a watch where its bezel colour matches the dial colour wears bigger than one with different colours.

cheers! :D
Dial color also matters as well I think, black versus white is quite different. :) I also feel that watch on bracelet tends to feel smaller than it does on anything else.

Could be my rather small wrist size as well, most dive watches' length inclusive lugs tend to overpower my wrist. :look:

I thought it's ok to shower with it.
