Dial color also matters as well I think, black versus white is quite different.imho, besides case diameter, there're other factors that cause a watch to wear either big/small:
- dial diameter. a dress watch with a thin bezel will wear bigger than a diver with the same case size but thicker bezel. compare say a Frederique constant dress watch vs a rolex diver.
- lug-to-lug length. a watch with short or even no lugs (like the Seiko tunas) allows a larger case size to wear smaller than one with overhanging lugs.
- case thickness. a thick watch will wear bigger.
- a watch where its bezel colour matches the dial colour wears bigger than one with different colours.

I also feel that watch on bracelet tends to feel smaller than it does on anything else.
You're welcome! This watch is really good for it's price and it grows on you. Makes me occasionally look at it in admiration.
