How thick is the PVD coating? As far as I know, polishing removes the coating to make scratches less visible. Unless your PVD coating is thick. Else don't try, you may strip away the entire PVD coat.

PS: What are all the extra little dials on most watches for in this thread? I see a lot of these types (chronograph) but never understood what they are for? Do people actually use them?

the last few links on both end of the clasp [B]should [/B]have screws or some directional arrows engraved on . remove those to size it?
