The black dial 6263 is one of the most droolworthy chronographs.

Actually I would say 95% of it is my own money lol. From part-time work, NS etc.
Currently served 1.5yrs in the army. 145 days to ord lo! After my A-levels I had a few months to work and save as well.

No la, your parents want to give you money is their choice.

I took nothing from my parents since A Levels finished, beyond the occasional meal when we go out together. NS non-officer with no mess - pay can't save one la, unless jiak hong.

im saying it objectively with no personal attack intended lol. it is wat it is. not like the watch is worth any less if its bought by parents' money right? and nth wrong with enjoying fruits of parents' labor but sometimes i just find it irritating if some people take other people's fruits as their own. seems like impatientstudent said he worked for it and i take his words for it.

I'm only irritated if people think that having more possessions makes them any better than anyone else, and even more so, if they didn't work for it.

Frankly, watches are just wants, not needs. And like everyone has said, it's a self-high hobby. I like to see people's expensive watches, can't bring myself to buy. Also got my kind of high, but I don't feel envious or anything.

I agree bro! I do that too. I notice more ppl bio my Cartier than my Lolec though.

to a certain extent. I tend to bio what ppl wear and got ppl bio what I wear. Haha.

Got a scratch at lug area : ( wonder if can polish off?

Leave it. Wear and tear is part and parcel of wearing it. If every small scratch you polish you soon lose the case shape. Especially since they beveled the lug do so nicely on the black bay. Embrace the scratch. If you ever met yatto, take a look at his watch, 45k watch also like that whack only. No need lose sleep over it.

Haha i not sure if my wrist is considered skinny, currently my comfort limit is 40mm watches. I actually never tried the 36mm Nomos Club before as local ADs no stock, if want must order. But I assume shouldn't be a problem because i used to own the Nomos Metro and can carry that off.
