For those interested in Zenith, there's a new limited edition released in collaboration with PuristPro:

very nicely done. classic reborn. price of US$8,700/€8,000 is a definite put-off though.

Now that I see this pic I think the Zenith is for me. Speedy L2L is too long for me.

Yeah great you see the point early. The speedy pro is a great watch but has quite unforgiving lug design and length.

That's why there is the reduced version, and it sells loads in Japan, where I guess folks are typically the Japanese pay more attention to finesse-ing details.

Can see that you are really buying this for yourself, and lots of consideration about fit, beyond watch brand or history or popularity. so whatever you end up with I am sure you will be happy with it.

hmmm i don't usually save up for watches... if i have enough $$, i will still think and think and think before hooting.

but if i really like a particular watch, i will go test out on the wrist and see if it sings to me... otherwise, it's money saved. haha.

got enough watches for now liao. no need to think so much... come in here ssrr and gxgx dai gors who buy new watches can liao. happy already.

I have a similar approach, although I do ultimately have a watch in mind, I remain flexible with the wallet, because after all, it is a want, not a need.

Luckily, no Aquanaut remains in an AD for long, but I fear it is inevitable, I can still remember the mesmerising dial of the Royal Oak 15400, and I heard the Aquanaut's dial is equally if not more potent.

Both are great watches. The Royal Oak is loud and the design can be seen from the moon. The Aquanuat, although always referred to cruelly as the cheaper cousin of the Nautilus - takes time but grows on you

Finally got what I've always been wanting for a long time.

No longer a fan of the usual Subs, GMT, Daytonas. (Used to have them one time or another but sold shortly)

Simple and "cheap" compared to the other models but still my most favourite.

Now having a "blast" resizing the bracelet.

How many turns does it take for you to unlock the crown ? Mine turns to winding position with barely a nudge; kind of worried I might have damaged the crown threads earlier.

Something is wrong, my takes about 2 turns, but I find snowflake crown the safest among my watches, the "rubbery" feel when winding kind of makes it difficult to damage the threads.
