I've tried to JLC Master Geographic liao. Without discount is $17,200. SA refuses to even give a ballpark discount price. It's a beautiful watch but the worldtime crown so uncomfortable to turn.

And the main dial shows your home country time while the sub-dial shows the country you are currently in. Maybe I suaku but I find it counter-intuitive.

The manual states the main dial shows local time and sub dial the 2nd timezone

The name Skyhawk has a special meaning for me, and I'm planning to wear it till either it spoils or my career (not yet, but hopefully...) in aviation ends.

iirc, jump hour on a mechanical watch is a disc with numerals that will instantaneously switch to the new hour instead of slowly rotating to reach it.

Cos for Seiko's GMT, the local time controls the date and not the home time. The 24 hr hand (red hand) is the home time while the hour hand is the local time.

The local time should be seen at a glance and not having to "look for it".

features of a true traveler GMT watch (which aren't many)! among them are the rolex GMT master II/IIc, the omega seamster GMT and alpine GMT.

it makes for easy reading by allowing local time to be easily set without stopping/affecting the seconds hand.

the only b!tch is quick set date function is crippled.

Just press and turn the bezel! And can turn both clockwise and anti-clockwise. Very simple and comfortable to turn
