but nothing beats official verification from the brand itself. that plays a big part in the value of a pre-owned rolex. some may not consider 3rd party verification reliable enough.

Have servicing fee even if don't go ahead with servicing after quotation? Swatch SC don't have this servicing fee, they just return ur watch if u decide not to go ahead

Last mentioned on another forum in 2012, the person was charged $107 (same as the previously offered authentication fee) after sending his watch in for a servicing quotation and declining any work to be done.

It was noted that the fees are to prevent people from trying to circumvent the authentication fee.

but nothing beats official verification from the brand itself. that plays a big part in the value of a pre-owned rolex. some may not consider 3rd party verification reliable enough.

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but in the past, even on the invoice, it does not specifically say that it is authentic, just states "Service Charge - $107". If so, can still send in the watch using the above method and get an official invoice from them with the model and serial number on the paper.
