Great, glad that you are enjoying it.

I think the Legacy pulls off the faux vintage look pretty well. The trouble with a lot of Steinhart's other offerings is that (i) they either overdo it - e.g. Ocean One Vintage and OVM v2.0 have way too faded grey dials, (ii) or there are flaws, e.g. OVM v1, with the hands and markers different color - it irked me to no end.

You make me think of getting a leather NATO.

649x 的機芯本來就是掛錶的機種，大，是正常的。這樣大的機芯，裝入42毫米的錶壳已經算是夠薄的了。。。一般上採用44毫米的錶殼才算標準。

要再小的話，恐怕就要改用產量較少，價格更貴的pasuxe7001了。。。

I dunno, I just think it's wasted that this looks dressy, but yet so large.

Guess it has been ages since I last bought a strap, let alone review one!

SNPR Straps - USA

I have always wanted to try one of SNPR's straps as reviews of Joe and his straps have always been excellent, so in Jul 2016, I placed an order for a Horween Wheat Scritto Strap, because I was intrigued with the patterns on the strap and that no two straps are alike. Furthermore, from the photos online, it seems that his straps are very soft & pliable, like a piece of cloth where if you lay it over an item, the leather conforms to the shape easily.

As Joe does all his straps himself and not outsourced, waiting times for his customised straps can range from 12 - 16 weeks, yes... up to 4 months. But since I had a few others straps , the wait didn't bother me. Ultimately, I waited 7 months for mine, with a bit of a hiccup where I requested for a strap without any buckling holes punched and he shipped one that was punched. I did not really mind but when I tried it on, the "right" buckling hole position was between 2 holes that was punched! So I reached out to Joe and he sent a replacement strap to me as soon as he could, hence it took a "bit" longer than expected.

Specs are:

• 24/24mm
• 125/75mm
• Single floating wide Keeper
• Open stitching
• Raw, uncut/un-burnished sides
• Brushed Pre-V SNPR buckle

Love the "graffiti" writings on the leather strap, makes my other leather straps look plain. Softest leather strap that I owned, conforms to the wrist instantly, no need to season the strap beforehand. Only downside to having such a soft strap is that the very first time you wear it, more often than not, there will be scoring of your buckle where it meets the buckling hole.

Definitely one of my fav straps!

You're pretty much right on the money. Despite the vintage mimicry, somehow the Legacy nails in a rather natural way. In comparison, my OVM Maxi seems quite forced.

That leather NATO is the only 22mm one I've got heh, and it's quite well-worn, which adds to the rugged aesthetic.

Sometimes modding towards a same products might as well buy the original one. Plus the original one not too ex.

Modding is about own creativity.

With the money spent, you could have gone for legit baby tuna
But to each of its own lol.

Any 1 here using luminox 3081 BO, looking to get 1.However heard alot of negative comments regarding luminox. Any constructive advice will be appreciated.

Take a look at A.3082.BO, this is the full carbon model, super light weight and very comfortable on the wrist. You can check it out under Qoo10 seller "Trendmecca" at a much lower price during time sale.

Strapcode bracelet for my seiko skx007 arrived!

I chose the bracelet which tapers to 20mm at the deployant. A bit thicker than i used to but its good.

The quality of the strapcode bracelet is much better than the Seiko jubilee strap. But the Strapcode's deployant clasp is a bit flimsy. Overall, satisfied.

Actually my intention was not to mod it to replicate it to be a baby tuna. I just liked how the watch looked in bronze.

Anytime can just buy off the rack and I do that myself too. For seikos I just buy the SKX and turtles for fun and modding since they're so cheap.. It's like a hobby la.. Mix and match parts and stuff. Think a spent a fair bit on mod parts liaoz

Took the GS Snowflake yesterday for a test-run. Fell deeply in love with it. Grand Seikos are really one of Japan's best kept secret. They are sooo gorgeous. People online always compare them to JLC's quality and I can totally see why.
