True that..I think it adds a nice touch to an otherwise small case. Looks like this watch wears larger than it is.

I went to one of the THG and yes, there is no stock in which apparently there is a long waiting list too :(

Any reason why there seems to be random area with double threading?
Eg second pic, at the clasp area on the right side. Left side do not have
Or am I noob and that it is a norm ?

Get the Sub no-date. Personally it looks better(if you can live without a date) and can be had brand new for much cheaper at $9.1k. You can also opt for the transitional models 14060 or also the SD 16600 if you prefer their proportions.
