Anyone interested in 5167 Steel/ rubber bracelet model can consider this? Double sealed and brand new. No need to queue under the waiting list for this model and can get from carousell now. Got some drawbacks such as the warranty not under your name? Warranty started in April?

Ps. I don't know the seller. Just sharing info to watch lovers if you want to get this piece. If you are interested, should not be too difficult to check if it is authentic or not.

Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A-001 for S$25,000 https://carousell.com/p/112334020 on #carousell

no reviews of seller....hmmm

On the topic of warranty, anyone knows how much big time charge to clean a watch?

Have a 60th anniversary which is a little foggy inside
Never worn before, so not sure what's wrong leh
Feel like bringing to big time to let them have a look

not sure about big time, last time done cleaning before at k2 .. cant rem actual but maybe about $10-$20 (as also done a few things there so cant rem the breakdown)

Foggy when cold may need to change the rubber (gasket) .. done at pohling for $15-$20 with cleaning of glass. (also cant rem actual :s13: .. old liao memory no good :()

Nowadays I do it myself :s13: (for cleaning , gasket.. don't know where to find the correct size) .. you tube got teach .. very easy one ..

Hey guys, I'm wondering any speedy pro owner here faces difficulty in winding the watch? I can only use tip of my finger to wind it. The crown guard sort of obstruct the crown. Is it only on modern piece?

i have the sapphire sandwich. winding is ok. some resistance but not difficult. Are you a new owner? maybe once you used to it - will be fine :)

Yes bro pretty new. Not the resistance part but the surface that permits you to wind the crown is limited. Like kanna blocked by the crownguard.

And that guys, is why sometimes its good to know one's movement and how good the quality there is over at the dark side. Rep 3135/ETA movements all everywhere, its just a matter of time one day they'll rep PP's complication movement using their reverse engineering...

That also explains why some PAMs re-sale prices are getting lower and lower...

I dont believe they have successfully rep in-house movements. There comes a point where if you rep everything from movmement to box to labels to guarantee booklets...it stops making sense to do the rep.

I thinking of going grey to save costs but my paranoid self believes it's worth paying that 'AD premium' for that extra peace of mind haha
Find the right grey and you may change your mind. The $ u save buys you another watch over a few purchases.

The rotor they will replicate, but not other innards to a T. I was reading up before before I went to verify my Pelagos. They take Asian 2824 and decorate the rotor. Really look like at a quick glance haha.
