While we're on this topic, anyone else find the Zaratsu polishing scenes particularly enthralling? Quite a sight to see so many skilled artisans work their tools on that hot wh- I mean, piece of haute horology.

Zaratsu is one of the best techniques employed in watchmaking.

I can honestly tell you 90% of rolex owners don't know what is AR.
So to rolex, having AR Is not a selling point to the mass
At a biz pov, why change something that is moving so well and since 90% of their customers don't know AR, why incurred more cost?
Food for thought.

I mean it's OK to flip but don't judge rolex design based on what you think.
It could be deliberate design by rolex themselves.
It's been there for years. Ppl complain but still they buy.

要知道有没有反射涂层，你需要将你的錶放在日光灯，还是led灯下一个大约三尺小距离看灯光反映在錶镜上，仔细看看反映在錶镜上的灯光周围是否有蓝色的光环。若有，就有反射涂层。
iwc的蓝光环比较细。
