Great model, physically located in Switzerland does give them some advantage in the watch industry

P.S for those interested in Mitsukoshi, there's a mod on carousell right now but it does not stay true to the original as it does not have the silver hands. It also does not have box, papers and bracelet. Just something to consider.

its the free internet, and i am not profiting from it. doesn't it happen all the time ? don't you do it at all and why are you bothered?

edit: sorry if that sounded rude, but i have no interest at all in the watch business, except as a hobbyist and hobbyists and collectors use the internet to share all the time.

on second thoughts and along the same line of your query it would be interesting to know if those who post here declare their interests in the watch industry, if any.

some good examples like elshan and gaoxing comes to mind, who are pretty transparent with their posts

because i happen to know the original poster of that image, thus i took a special interest in you stealing that photo...which is also why i can brazenly add the statement "without the owner's permission"

and also because i'm a hobbyish photographer myself, and one thing i absolutely cannot stand is when people use my images without prior permission, or at least credit it back to me...

i type the above with the assumption that we all know the difference between google images, and images that is taken and shared by the same person for social media...

to my limited knowledge, gaoxing's posts have been of his own watches, jolt my memory if i'm wrong...

so you are saying i can steal mpcdude's awesome looking speedmaster, post on my facebook and make others think i own one?

if your answer to the above is "yes", then i rest my case, different people have different view on this whole steal-image thing, and on the request of the original owner of that image, i'm not going to stir this any further than necessary.

oh just for reference, previously someone was asking for recommendation for his blue samurai and i openly screenshot and used's watcherists (an IG account, if i recall e acc name correctly) but difference is, i credit my image source to them...

very hard to at least acknowledge the image's owner in your post?

lol my name appeared twice. all lousy pictures are of my own.
only ppl steal my pics and use it on carousell. kena kan by me. LOL

What amazes me is how it has never been serviced before and still manages to keep time, albeit at -50s per day, truly a workhorse movement. He also posted pictures of the watch's caliber 1520 movement and it looks to be in great condition.

Don't know how much was offered, but I'm almost certain the first owner got more than what he originally paid for in 1980. :s13:

AFAIK.
I think probably 15-20k.
