those who got good deal(s) from there may have good things to say about them.
but here're my impression (fwiw):
- the salesman there is an ah beng thru and thru. heck he even chose an ah beng name after a common edt: davidoff.
- he's not obliging and dismissive when it comes to delivering what you request (eg full set items).
- he's not that knowledgeable on all his products and may even spout some mistakes or errors. do your research well before buying there (or any place for that matter) to see if they BS you.
- the prices there are high. sure you can try to bargain. but a high asking price makes for more difficult bargaining.
- his boss sitting in his office seems better to deal with though.
while a good price for the item i want is most important, it would be good if i can have a pleasant & engaging experience when buying, with an obliging attitude from the seller. after all, i'm stuffing money into his/her pockets, and the stuff they sell are not unique to them. they can be had in other 2nd hand shops or online sellers too.

Mini Review:
As you can see this room has no carpet! Makes it less luxurious and cosy. Did not live up to expectation this Festive hotel deluxe family room. Amara Sanctuary, though touted as a tier lower and priced lower, I found more classy and comfortable in terms of finishing and room privisions. And beware, hordes of tourists around the hotel lobby etc, mainly Chinese and Indians. Somehow, hardy any Westerners. If you want peace and quiet, go Amara. If you want a family stay like a chalet, ok. If you want some luxury/class, no you don't get what you pay for.
Other dislikes:
1. No gym or at least cannot find it
2. Talk about cannot find - there are no sign boards stating Festive hotel when you are looking for where to park. Park far away and good luck walking, this place is huge.
3. When we pushed the sofa bed we found 2 packets of Macs ketchup, lego and dust. So much for feeling clean.
4. You got to walk a long way to get from hotel to the stuff in rws - about 7 to 10 mins walk I reckon.
5. There is no exclusiveness/security. No need card to access floors or swimming pool. (Could have contributed to 1 night hearing about 20 ppl in nearby room making a racous at 4am - which stopped after others complained apparently).
Yup. Festive hotel really like budget for casino goers. And the tourists just pack all around the lobby.
Try equarius? A bit out of the way but much nicer.

My fave is still MBS......always go gym at night, then go for run, early morning catch the sunrise on pool deck. And NDP fireworks are the best.

Wah this piece looks unique. What watch is it? Acrylic xtal?
Yea, equarius much better! Like it best among the rws hotels but not family-oriented if thats key
