Im curious abiut what U watch gurus think. If given a choice between the 2 watches, which woulf you get?

1) New AP ROO 44m Titanium with the grey dial
2) Patek 5712/1A-001

Definitely the 5712. It's in a class of its own, and far outclass the ROO. Yatto-san's pictures make it all the more compelling.

My 'pretend to be in Japan' picture. Sumire's set lunches offer incredible value that doesn't burn the pocket.

I would go with Patek as I have a small wrist. I had the chance to be upclose and personal with this watch and it feels very comfortable.

As for the AP ROO 44mm... the design doesn't attract me.

What look are you going for? Seems like you have cash to reward yourself with a > $40k watch.

In terms of uniqueness, the PP is clearlu ahead. You could argue the ROO is unique too, well yes that general look is but there are many "hubloisk" variants, something AP I believe is trying to consolidate. The ROO is an acquired taste I find. What do you own now, it will influence what you shoudl get. Again 2 very diff timepieces..2 differnt style, and also sizes. Whats your write size the ROO wears more than 44mm as for all ROOs. Lol the only thing similar are prices and they are top tier manufacturers?
