Hi Guys,

Been a long time reader of this thread but have never posted anything.
Decided to join in because I think I have reached my end game...

Since I rarely posted anything after I joined as a member many years ago, I cannot post any image to show my collection.

Can anyone kindly help me to post the image below? Thank you.

@theblueark: Thanks for helping me embed the image. Appreciate it.

@gaoxing84: That is not RG. Cannot afford RG. It is the Charles Darwin edition which is in bronze.

@snowver: Lol. Have to stop though. Not enough wrist and time to rotate them.

Not even sure whether you'll like automatic or quartz ah? Start with Seiko 5 ba. $100+ and add a leather strap. See if you fall in love with the sweeping second hand and playing with the setting of time/day/date.

Quartz for people wanna just grab and go don't wanna mess around with settings.

Oh my this seems like a good starter watch. Yes i dont mind playing around with the settings. Thanks for the recommendation! I'll look into the seiko 5. Probably bencoolen mall.

Now it's between seiko and orient for me

I was in the same spot as you! A lot of people recommended the Bambino but I wanted to experiment with straps and 21mm straps were hard to find considering my other watches were 22mm so it was easier to reuse straps. After I settled on buying seiko's snzg15k1, I saw orient's flight watch in the shop for about $50 more and was attracted to it more so I bought it as my first automatic :s13:

Personally, I would go with the seiko 5. It has many styles. Try looking at skywatches for a mini 'catalogue'! You might also want to drop by your nearest city chain/H2 hub to see what styles attract you.

For dress watches, I'm going to get a SRP703K1 or a SARB033 soon. Haven't tried the latter on my wrist to decide yet, but I'm in love with the wavy dial texture of the SRP703! I didn't even consider it until I saw a wrist shot here in this thread and went to find it at city chain.
