Did some treatment to my ventus. I mixed vinegar with salt and flour to create a paste and apply them onto the brass area of the ventus for 10 mins or so. washed it off to remove patina

result is a much brighter yellowish gold after the dark patina is being stripped off. compare this with the untreated buckle
