guys..wanna ask.....i am getting a pre-owned watch from an overseas buyer. the watch was covered by seiko 1yr international and subsequent 4yrs in australia/oceania.

my question is...i am ready to pay the GST for the 1st time it land in sg. but...but..if 3yrs down the road...should the watch malfunction...and i need to send back to seiko australia...do I need to pay GST again? moreover...GST for australia and singapore. how does sending watch overseas for repair works?

Yes, you need to pay GST after the watch is back in Singapore. To avoid paying, you will require a permit. (I chk before, custom reply as below)

 GST-paid goods that are sent out from Singapore on a temporary basis may be re-imported into Singapore without payment of GST. In order to qualify, you must prepare the temporary export [OUT (TCI)] permit prior to the export and produce the permit together with the goods to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officer during clearance. For the re-importation, you should apply for the corresponding re-importation [INP (TCI)] permit and produce it together with the goods for clearance at the inward checkpoint. For more information on the re-importation of goods which are temporarily exported, please refer to here.

5              To assist with your permit declaration, you may appoint a local freight forwarding agent who is registered as a TradeNet® user with Customs or a TradeNet® service centre to declare relevant permits and account for the GST (if any). A list of these freight forwarding companies can be obtained here

I think the lugs on your red Sea-Dweller are more proportionate for its case size compared to my 116600 and the SubC.
