40 months... That's almost 3.5 years repayment.
Are your finances able to allow you to go through this 40 months comfortably and without missing a single payment?

A fellow watch lover, Paladium , recently shared with me this...
"Many here Probably have the cash for a luxury watch like patek...
But It's the comfortability of buying and holding on to it without drastically affecting the other financial components of your life..."

I find this extremely appropriate when it comes to investing or buying a luxury watch, especially if you have considerations about your own finances.

Wah say....thanks I didn't know they recently extended all warranty to 5 years. Grateful mine was May 2017, just checked online extended to May 2022..wohoo!. This is really great of AP, especially their servicing charges are not cheap.

Warranty cover servicing?
Most brands i come across warranty does not cover routine servings.

Thinking of getting my first no date sub, and I'm looking at carousell. Any tips on how to avoid fakes? Or is there any other websites with good prices?

Fake Rolex watches sell for about $500 and under.

Those buggers probably bought the watch in KL or China.

The ones sold in KL are the third grade Made in China fakes - lots of them in Chinatown.

There are first grade fakes, also made in China, which are sold closer to 500 bucks. These buggers probably went for a holiday there, bought one or two, and after a while, found that the watch was fast or slow by ten minutes everyday, or got tired of it, regret now, and try to find a sucker to buy it over...

The Rule of Thumb, when you see the price, is "If it's too good to be true, then it probably is"

Of course it is always possible that someone may try his luck to sell a RMB 500 (SGD 100) Rolex watch for $6,000/-

But then again...a suggestion that you would like to have it authenticated (at your own expense even) at Rolex Service Centre is enough to get them to mark the watch as "Sold" or take down their listing, and reappear a few weeks later with another account name.

Second hand and brand new price notch far so dunchs buys second hands
There are a few things I noticed about "second hand Rolex or any brand watches".

(1) Second hand watches are always euphemistically written as "pre-loved" in Carousell.

The term "second-hand" has a negative connotation to it, which can make people think of dirty, sweaty, wrists, or a watch that's worn by some old man with certain 疾病。

(2) New models of Rolex watches sold on the "second hand watch" market are unlikely to be priced at the same or about the same price as what Hour Glass charges. Unless the buyer never did his homework, he probably already knows the retail price and is not so easily fooled.

(3) A lot of people buy second hand Rolex watches even though they can well afford to buy a new one because the model is no longer in production.

Prelove just means previously own or used.
Used by a few dozen still used lol

A lot of ppl also buy cause they just want a Rolex. New or used don’t matter. With Rolex production at 1 million lot is relative

Your second line is invalid for the popular models.
