it seems no one here owns a Bell and Ross? never seem them being posted here..

are they severely overpriced and over-rated?

kinda like their style but never pulled the trigger because of the negative hype it gets everywhere.:(

I got one and even is the BR03 size (42mm) it has a lot of wrist presence (I worn it to a client meeting and across the table I see them noticing my watch :o )

I would say buy pre-owned as it is a value buy compared to paying retail after discount.

I like that it has sub minute markers. Exact time setting, and military like. Goes very well with the army green canvas strap. Rugged German feel. Like it too...

It basically encapsulates the German spirit in a watch - precise and clinical (it even has syringe hands haha) in execution. Has all the basic functions - precise timing, day and date. Design may seem boring but it gets the job done without being flashy and intrusive on your wrist.

I would highly recommend it.
The accuracy from what I'd read before I bought it was meant to be very good and mine is only about +1/2 secs a day.
I clearly need to up my watch photography game!

Guys need some opinion on pre own watches does older watches generally lose their value over time? Assuming that they are not limited edition and the watch is still in production, am eyeing a pre own piece however does not have any experiences, does the condition of the box determines the value as well? This piece I'm eyeing at cost 1800 for Oct 14 and for Aug 13 it's 1400. So would like some inputs thanks guys in advance

Short answer is everything will depreciate. Be prepared to lose if you intend to resell down the road. I'd focus more on why you want the watch and what you gain from it.

Dont forget if you want to service it, it will cost you also. So this 100 to 200 lost, is no horse run one..

even its rolex, you may lose.
learn your market. survey the prices.

every that the watch supposed to have attributes to its price

and what you buy now, you may not even be able to sell it at all because there's no market for it..

This one is Jimmy shop, he is the owner. Nice guy once you get to know him. I find his trade/buy in rate are quite good. (Traded twice with him) If you happen to be there, do try the zenith steel daytona, I believe there is 2 black one on display. :)

lol have a bad experience with him.

wanna ask his rate for my kermit, he use loupe check sapphire crystal, say got alot of microscratches. lowball me. i lol walk away

got a friend who got a pepsi from him, he say full set but got papers like calender, manuals all missing.

dealer mind set of full set means got box, got papers, got the rolex tags means full set.

It's a sellita movement.

You're right about the acquisition. From my experience, only WOS seem to carry Sinn, but their stores are usually quite close to Hourglass anyway.

Hourglass at vivo, ma maison and taka all have sinn
