New acquisition for Seiko Saturday. The SARX045 is a sharp piece with masculine cues - particularly its beautifully angular lugs and blocky "H-styled" bracelet.

Appearing black at first glance, the dial reveals its true dark blue "tux-striped" pattern under direct lighting. I like the fact that it's not in-your-face bright, and has a slight sunburst effect in addition to its stripes. At just 39.5mm, it's a crowd-pleaser in terms of fit too.

If I had to sum this watch up in two words, it would be Subtly Gorgeous.

Is it bigger the sarb033? Wondering how will it look on a small wrist,

Standby bracelet... which one most comfy and well built?
For me, comfort = sinn H-links (just that the clasp lock feels abit light and cheap). For built = Tudor (solid with a nice feel to the ball bearing clasp). Not in picture will be Rolex oyster, AP lol

It looks significantly bigger. Although not a SARB033, I have a SARB035 for comparison. And a white dial should theoretically make the watch look a bit larger, but you can see quite a significant size difference here:

On paper the case size difference between these two is just 1.5mm though.

Short answer is generally no.

Long answer is that it depends, but that’s not exactly unlike Rolex. What’s more important is how popular the model is and how much people would pay for a discontinued piece.
