Hi guys, another question.... I know some of you owned the sla017.

Is it really worth the premium over sbdx017?

No chance to see the sla017 in real life unless any kind soul here willing to meet me over a cup of coffee to show me.

Worth is subjective. Just like why get an automatic when a quartz is a lot more accurate.

Never really try the SBDX017 but I love my SLA017. It's a humble size to start with (I have skinny wrist). The grey dial, box dome crystal and great lume... you have to see it in real life!

Wearing my iwc to celebrate this great day where we have our first female president. A celebration for our great democracy. If you believe..

alot people dont pay more than 2k for a seiko. it really depends how much do you appreciate it and its history in diving.

for me, i am a diving watch fanboy, i wish i can get the original 62mas but the prices are creeping up and none of them are in good cond.

this sla017 is not cheap to begin with, you can get a rolex explorer with that kind of money.

i have the sbdx001 and sla017 and i think they complement each other.

i like to have watches that only people who are wis to know what i am wearing.

others will think its just a regular seiko u can get it off citichain.

so end up, its your call.

btw, both of them are different watches in many ways yet with same tech specifications.
