Hi,

Does anyone know the MCC code of The Hour Glass? I'm planning to make a purchase there and wanted to make sure is in the catergory my CC rewards.

Thanks.

Btw, I have a manual winding JLC watch bought in 2014 from Switzerland AD. Since then I have sent to JLC MBS twice for service within the warranty period as the watch stopped and could not wind. Now that it is out of warranty period, I wonder if such service would be at a huge cost as it cannot be wind again! Quite disappointing to spend 5 figure on a watch which needs constant servicing.

I do hear JLC brand quite often when it comes to technical/movement issues. Of course they are probably anecdotal, but still...

If it is the same repeated issue (unable to wind) and not due to your improper handling (quite unlikely if you are a seasoned watch user), then personally i would suggest highlight it to the JLC team for them to get the watch checked again. It is unreasonable for the watch to only work for short period of time after getting it repaired.

I had a similar experience with a reverso (specifically a sun/moon which has been discontinued). The watch crown dropped off while pulling out for adjusting time and subsequently power reserve indicator does not function as it should be. Got them repaired twice within warranty period and sold it off untouched shortly after the second repair.

Hope your issue get settled soon (best if they replace you with a new piece). :D

you should write to them and let them know your grievance on this. Especially if the fault is not with you but the timepiece.

Let me know if you want the Head of Client's Experience contact, he exchanged business cards with me recently

Not to mention the vast plethora of modding options centred around this legend..

Any advice on where to get a skx007 locally at reasonable price? Is Big time ok? Or got other shops with more reasonable price.
