My guess is the model is still holding on to a minimum value ba. Its like a 2000 vs 2011 Daytona using the cal.4130. Its still never below 12k.

many uneducated buyers many times, didn't factor in service cost. 10yr old same price as 1yr old. I rather go with 1yr old. 10yr old for those who cared will service it and that cost at least 1K easy. for those who just wanna wear and show don't matter.

If service easy over many Ks.
But i know i can wear and show and still sell even higher.
Some educated buyers some times..

My tudor black bay rose paint has come off. Black bay owners will understand what I mean, the rose on the crown.

Will this be covered under warranty? My warranty is till year end. I assume it’s either a crown replacement or a “paint job”?

a manufacturing defect they acknowledge no issue.
a mishandling on your part, no way to claim warranty
