Hey guys, I have a german watch using miyota 82S5 having some issues. It's not an expensive watch so am wondering if it's worth repairing? Anyone have an idea how much will it cost? I can't seem to find any repair shop that does 'non luxury' watches..

The movement works fine if the face is pointed downwards, but stops when pointed upwards. probably something is loose or something major?

I was looking to buy an Omega Speedmaster Professional at an AD. Got offered 10% off RRP. Is this a normal discount? He did mention that it was an extra discount (normally 5%) as it was leading up to CNY, but is that true? Or was he just trying to push through the sale?

I got 15% easily on mine when I got mine during a normal period (no upcoming festivities or promotions). Push for at least 15%.
