Sorry if I noob, but this looks very similar to the Limited Ed MM300...understand that like the SLA017, this is supposed to be a reissue of an old legend, but in comparison the SLA017 looks way better.

You are right that it looks similar to sbdx012, since sbdx001/003/012/017 are all from 6159 mm300 lineage.
I guess the design pref is subjective, but u have the 017 I thought you would prefer the mm300 over the 62mas design.
Only issue I see is the price, but if Seiko name it under sbex family then I guess it fits into that price bracket.

Definitely within reach for you.

Did you try the 37mm Saxonia Thin? Entry level Lange with a finishing that rivals their very best. Which says a lot about the craftsmanship of this brand.

this 6159 reissue is abit different, look at the hands. more true to the original 6159
Plus it uses 8L55 - 36k Hibeat
