Just wanna ask if I were to invest for a mid range price watch, would Tag Heuer or Omega be a better choice? Currently looking at Omega Seamaster Coaxial and Tag Heuer Aqua racer models.

Omega.
But price difference is about 1k plus.
Coaxial is good stuff

Did you read the post I was referring to?

Someone made a post comparing cyrenic's watch to the stock image of a modern ceramic sub. The insinuation was that something wasn't right with cyrenic's piece as it was different from said stock image.

I brought you up because you clearly have a more than respectable vintage collection. My case in point was that a product manufactured in the 70's, 80's or 90's would look different than one produced in today's standards. I found it hilarious that the original poster seemed to have this idea that a product could only have one possible reference, and tried to apply the same logic to different things, like Windows and iPhones.

Pardon my knowledge but I have been looking at the Seamaster 300 and 300m, not sure if the 300 is worth the extra thousands in comparison to the 300m diver watch.

IMHO, the only Seamaster that appeals to me aesthetics-wise is the 300 Co-Axial. So specs aside, it has already won hands down in my books. After all, if you don't like how a watch looks, I don't think you'll be bothered by its specs, or price. Whether it is worth the extra over the 300m, is a question only you can answer. For me, it's a definite yes.

It should be
Seamaster Pro 300 - I believe they're using a modified eta movement which has the coaxial escapement. Cal 2500
Seamaster 300 - they should be using omega in house master coaxial movement Cal 8400

That's the main difference in price.
Also seamaster 300 is a homage or redesign of their first diver.
Seamaster Pro is like their entry level old poster boy for omega diver.

Both look very different.

Tudor black bay black.
Nice vintage feel with a modern design, solid watch and in house movement.
Probably can get it 3.5-4k
