I would like to ask some pros here about grey market watches. I bought a seiko sea monster, SRP581, from a shop in lucky plaza at a good price, considering that they are almost impossible to find here. however, all I received was a typical seiko box with no papers at all. the hang tag was removed by the shop as well. All I have is a nets receipt and the generic white seiko box.

I am sure the watch is genuine after inspection, but if I were to sell the watch one day, how important are things like booklets and hangtags for a cheapish watch like this?

any recommendation? I'm look at either Ball engineerII or master engineer, longines hydroquest, oris Aquis or damasko DA43.

But damasko design not really appealing but their specification is good. looking at entry 1500, I got a Gshock 5 years mudmaster, seiko criteria 5years..so looking at a entry swiss watch..

Interesting thought from JCB as on the smart watch, especially the last part about the watch becoming independent from the phone. For now, no thank you I dont need one.

baselworld 2018 hydroconquest has new movement 65hrs PR and ceramic bezel update, not a bad choice. Quite sporty also

oris making the right moves since last year...

Hi guys... still see all of you guys around.. it's been years... yes I'm still buying watches.. but not so many ... the watches are moving much slower in the world and therefore to build an interesting new concept is not easy... simply put not so interesting for me.... still keeping all I've bought over the years...

Richard mille is now so ridiculously priced... I'm glad I bought so many in the past
