Somehow the older model with both the Seiko & Grand Seiko text just looks better to me. The newer model just looks a bit too bare. I'm usually one for non duplicity but this is an exception.

I feel the dial on the older model is more balanced.

Please do. The washi dial and finishing is sublime. Unsure if there are dead stock pieces left but never say never at Japan. Otherwise the SBGA211 is an equally nice piece too. Some enabling pictures taken for you :)
