Hahaha I’m all for it. Bring back the 1665 Double Red SD. Submariner and Sea Dweller typography in the same watch.

The older designs.. really too nice imho!
No need for the oversized case and crown guards. Dial and Insert patina as you use... every watch tells its own story..

I think most of us have the inclination to the mystic and allure of vintage... yet.. few dare to thread.. for me.. its a classic case of kena deeply poisoned.

No money for honest 1665 drsd.. gotta settle for these instead...

I vote the Elegante the most special and interesting watch of watch thread 14 Its likely the next watch purchase when I feel rich again...which wont be soon haha. Perfect to have a quartz I would actually enjoy wearing as much as a mechanical.

You can look on carousell, but make sure you know what you are doing.

I will, however, recommend that you look at vintage style watches instead. Since they are easier to take care of.

The Longines Avigation BigEye is a good recent release you can look at. Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical, a 38mm manual wound watch is worth considering also if you like classic sizes. Good luck!

Bigeye is definitely more handsome. But at 5-6x the price of the Khaki Field Mechanical, it better be!

I've tried them on both of them, the Khaki just yesterday. Seriously tempted by it, the winding is satisfying as hell.
