Dxmachina bro, your Rubber B strap was on SD4000 and managed to fit?

Seems like there may be different straps being sold. The 14060 strap should be same as SD4000. :)

Yeah, but my Rubber B is chiong de haha. It fits damn snugly omce it's in, no play at all. Somehow I doubt the chiong Rubber B would have different versions, way too much trouble for manufacturing bah..

Haha, the discussions on certain chiong forums seem to suggest that it's due to manufacturing variances, primarily cos it's the chiong factories that make them. Looking on Aliexpress, I see many different lengths already. I guess everyone wants their slice of the pie. :s13::s13:

Haha, anything Rolex = hot demand. I think the novelty wore off for me..no urge to put my SD onto the rubber for now. Maybe in future when hand itchy again..🙄

hi all,

as the title suggests, i intend to buy myself a graduation gift and have been looking into omega for a while. i haven't really visited any physical boutiques or AD, more of reading up online reviews.

i intend to buy my new piece from local ADs soon. is hourglass a good AD? or should i be looking elsewhere?

thanks.

Hour glass is the biggest ad here in sg.
Can try sincere watches at suntec
Cortina at Wheelock.
Watches of Switzerland.
Basically they're all the same. Just depends on the discount you haggle for.

Omega I think they offer 15-30% depends on models.

Good luck.

from what i've read, offer to pay cash seems to be key in getting more discounts. is this true? and how best to haggle? pretty sure staff at AD seen more or less all techniques available out there that i'm not sure if the conventional tricks work anymore hahah

No. No difference.
There's no best way to haggle.
Depends on your skills. This one cannot teach. Go and survey first la.
Ask here no use one.
Nobody can provide much info on how much discount they can give.

They see your face they like they give more.
Don't like can don't give.

Very nice colour combination. Reminds me of the fast-punching Mantis Shrimp.
Haha now you remind me of that short youtube vid that I watched before about the mantis shrimp!

Go to the shops. Talk to the sales. If you feel comfortable with them then u talk prices. A lot of it is based on relationship/fate. Same shop, same sales can offer different discount for the same model on different day or different ppl. There is no fixed discount one. Most important thing is you happy with what you got and you feel you have been treated fairly.

There will always be another guy who got more discount than you or more free gift. No point keep comparing. Luxury is about the experience. Enjoy it!
