Agree bro. The ND sub has one of the most symmetrical dial!

A timeless classic :)

I think I roughly remember bro, do you have a pic of it? The Combat Sub on MassDrop is really a steal for a full bracelet piece. Thanks, my collection is a humble one compared to many bros here. Although not exactly small, it's dominated by <1k pieces, nothing truly high end.

Left out a few others which I intend to sell and the Steinhart OVM, which is not on any strap at the moment.

Beautiful collection! It's been a while since anyone posted their collection, thanks for sharing!

Nice set nonetheless! Was looking at the Glycine Airman the other day too. :p

Here's the one that I had for 2 days.. Got it from a trade and traded it for a Vilhelm Elemental, which I sold since.

Get well soon! Long time no c on thread.

Long time no see all.
Was hospitalized twice with a surgery for a recurrent condition since July. Hope nobody else goes through the same **** as I did. Been a terrible time coping with this acute condition and even the doc was baffled with its recurrence. Another procedure in a few months time.

In the meantime, seize the day. Decided to drop the bomb on something I've been eyeing for years.

Thanks. Sorted out

Thanks bro. Are you looking at the recent Airman No. 1 re-release through Massdrop?

Think that ended already, touch of modern had a sale a few days back but the key reason is that I'm not sure that the premium for the novelty of 24 hour dial is something I'd be willing to fork
out haha.

Only feel "satki" when I happily paid twice the price I bought 2.5 years ago and know its a good deal....

so the satki-ness of your watch purchase is because the price went up?
not because you genuinely like/love the watch and proud to wear it as it is?

of course, we know, if prices of the watches we owned went up, it's a good thing.

sup with stirring the "satki" comparison bro? Pointless leh.
I just mentioned ND subs r cool.

Just enjoy the hobby lah..

While you capitalise the thrill of finding the next piece to flip, leave me to enjoy hunting the next better piece to keep.

The first iteration of the 5513 matte submariner with pumpkin patina, fat case and tropical 60s insert...

How not to love?

I had this conversation before, and gave up..

I guess it's no different from owning some rare species of pet on the brink of extinction because it's hard to find and not many people can have it, so you feel exclusive. However, it's also more specific than that, focusing on quality examples of vintage piece, rather than say a limited edition modern watch.

I don't understand, but to each his own. I just don't buy such things, and people are entitled to their own way of being shiok, even if I don't agree with it.

Never stir you leh.
You last time say. Latest rolex can walk in store and buy
Pumpkin 5513 cannot. So Satki.
But now you say Satki cause price go up.
So I not sure your value in watches or this hobby is capitalism or truly love for the watch making.

Just my many cents.

It's nice piece btw.
Never say it isn't. My love for vintage is always there
But I have given up on it.
But that doesn't mean new modern watches are crap.
