I also not very interested in the new big box, or enamored with the feel of a new watch actually. My original concern was the need for servicing but found a piece that’s fairly recently serviced.

Prefer not to share, as someone once told me, got weird people dig out sharing online, and then use that to lowball his sale later on. It's amazing what people will do for a good deal.

Anyways, one look on Carousell and search past transactions will give you a good idea of the rough market rate ah, this kind of thing normally no one ask one.

Well, when you have many pieces, large boxes do get a bit old.. And take up more space in the cabinet.

keep it well or have it vacuum sealed.
but you dont live in Singapore so i guess you're ok

humidity kills boxes here.

i love boxes from Rolex, microbrands and seiko.
keep it small and simple.
the important part is the watch, the rest don't matter.

presentation box are good for display but don't really matter when its out of your sight.

and wood boxes are the best, those with matte materials like IWC or PVC leather are a waste of time.

Haha, mpcdude made a lot of sense when he suggested to go used.

Speedy value hold quite well, even if it's not a Rolex, % wise I think it's not too bad leh. I would actually expect more of a drop but the market is like that I guess.

Worse then Tag Heuer? The black coating disintegrates after few years reminds me of those safety boots kept in cupboard for some time.
