Just realize there is wording “DEFY” on the dial which is felt is a spoiler :s22:

Rolex has oyster perpetual wording also

Waiting for a number of straps so I can change it up too!

Thanks for the alert about the discounts - I got the Roadmaster from B&R in the end haha.. I know it's not Chromexcel, but it looked too nice to pass up. :s13:

The Chromexcel is very smooth and nice. Was always going to get one so this promo came at a right time. Got this black racing and another Natural Horween Classic Vintage. On hindsight this Roadmaster strap is damn nice too, something different from all the brown leather (have got enough of these as it is already haha).

The beauty of the Speedy lies in it looking good on almost all straps. Looking forward to see your strap combo photos!!

DW also more advance lei, no need keep winding!

Nope, like Daniel Wellington la. Gold standard for watches, even Nomos also copy..

Not only the clean dials... the nato straps as well. There are always DW wannabes who dress their watches on nato straps.

CASIO G-SHOCK STAINLESS STEEL GMW-B5000-1

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the G-Shock this year, Casio relaunched its original iconic square G-Shock in an all stainless steel version. First time Casio is doing this.

I seldom liked G-Shocks - felt that many of them were oversized monstrosities and I did not care for the plasticky look and feel of the smaller ones, even if they were super tough.

But this steel version is something else! :s12:

The steel makes the watch exude the strength of a tool watch and the overall design gives off a retro vibe. The flat squarish brushed steel bezel makes the watch look like something that Gerald Genta would design if he created a digital watch. Nothing cheap or juvenile looking about this G-Shock!

And to keep up with the times, the watch comes with solar charging and bluetooth connectivity to smartphones for time syncing, reminders and location recording.

There are a few versions of the steel G-Shock - the one in the pic is the sportier (and slightly cheaper) version which comes on a black resin band with matching dark negative LCD display. There are versions on steel bracelets and limited edition gold coloured versions.

And I thought my digital watch days were over ... :s13:
