anyone knows of a good strap color to go with this oris big crown pointer date 30mm?
i dont like the jubilee silver/rose gold strap that comes with it, thinking of either a nato or leather but unsure of the color..

There aren’t really any rules to it. The most obvious choice would be some kind of brown strap to harmonize with the gold.

But there are other perspectives you can take with strap choices. Level of formality, lifestyle, shoe/accessory colors, personal aesthetic...

i'm already pairing my speedmaster with a brown strap, so i figured i'll go with a black leather strap and a light colored nato to pair it shall see how it looks once the straps are here!

Did you time the accuracy of the watch? Mine is like running quite fast. About +15spd. I will let it run for a month then see if it improves or not.

I've been looking to get a Daytona and after looking around I realize that the Daytona 16523 is relatively cheaper than the other Daytonas.

Why is that?

Quite simply, 2-tone sports Rolex's are the lowest on the desirability scale. Very few people would buy them if they had a choice, and it's reflected in the pricing.

The newer 2-tone models using rose gold (like the new root beer and Datejusts) improved it somewhat, but only time will tell if they will ever be as desirable as all steel or all gold models.
