I’m thinking to get the Bell & Ross BR S Steel watch. It will be my first “proper” watch. Anybody have any advice? Is it decent?

Thinking of buying a green colour suede watch strap for a seiko alpinist. Any recommendations on where to purchase it other than holben's? I've recently just ordered straps from there and do not want to pay the shipping for 1 strap only. (mistake made on my end)

Took a look at b&r bands but it's too expensive. Budget around $30~$50.

Wah recently this PW3003 watch seems popular....

It’s a nice piece, good looks and quite rugged and solid. I prefer it over the Hodinkee World Timer though that’s nice too

I must say that 90% of my driving experience is done overseas, and I enjoy it much more than the short stint I had in Singapore.

It’s the only place where you signal change lane on highway, got 80% chance the driver will speed up to cockblock you.

I would say Bell and Ross watches have alot of wrist presence, people WILL notice it but when comes to resale, prepare to lose alot.

Piedmont, but going to Tuscany in a bit too - with a Fiat instead.

Only 165km straight line distance from u now lol

Italy not bad, Brussels is bad

Italian roads not wider imho; hill town area those turnaround is like 1 lane wide. Many times it’s just subjective; weekday Rome vs weekend como isn’t fair comparison Italy bigger than sg

Ya, maybe it’s cities rather than SG or Italy.

When I was in the UK, closer to London it gets visibly worse.

Ah, I’m driving a 500L in a bit. Cute car.

I have a friend who’s a Fiat fanatic, told me to dump the BMW to drive Fiat, I say I try both la.

That’s a lot of driving!

You might have an issue as UK is definitely different hand drive from Italy. Probably have to switch cars, but it’s not impossible to drive a car with wrong hand drive - just need to check traffic rules.

Don’t forget to get an International Driving Permit from AA, $20 valid for one year, just mar fun have to go to the counter to do on the spot, some of these countries’ rental agencies will ask for it (ie Italy did but not UK).
