Pray tell what design cues a land watch should have? Cos the exp2 looks just like a GMT to me....

Ok will let the Rolex marketing and product design team know.. cave explorer image and gmt hands should be mutually exclusive n would be sacrilegious if they co exist.

Guess you are right, I got to add a explorer 1 to complete my air land sea theme. Please advise if the exp 1 also a marketing gimmick as a land watch

Your understanding of old GMT is incorrect and understanding the feature also wrong.

Of cos any user will reset their time to the new local time zone.
While gmt master has a rotational bezel for ease of having a quick ref of a second time zone. The old gmt movement on a fixed steel bezel (ie exp 2) doesn't give any purpose other than telling day or night

Now design cues = image, guess u are really buying into the Rolex messaging
imo neither exp 1 or 2 has any distinct design cues that makes it a Land watch
But I guess fanboys have their own justification for their collection ba

hi can seek some opinion here. from the way I look at it the rolex deep sea 126660 price still didn't go up yet. if price is about 16k for a 2018 series, is it still ok? intend to wear it with a rubber strap any recommendation?
