Hey guys, I'm new to getting a fine watch. Eyeing a seamaster 300. Boutique quoted $7k+, a quick search on chuanwatch (for example) shows upper $5k+
What's the deal? How is it possible that grey dealers can take so much off? If so, would grey dealers be my choice? I'll be buying on installment

Boutique - zero discount. Maybe some freebies. Get on mailing list for future launches, events
AD - for omega last i know confirm still got discount. How much i not sure, quite controlled and see your sales guy like u/need sales how badly to get beyond standard discount.
Grey - better discount, maybe overseas AD piece, but still legit.

Boutique can offer u discount also. U need to ask them for it. 10-15% should be easily given
Thanks for light speed reply guys. So it's safe to say, boutique is for carrot la. Want a good deal, it's either grey or 2nd hand. Cos I've seen the submarine 300 drop to high $4k+ on the resale market
That time I went to Omega boutique was only 5% discount, AD definitely can do more.
Cortina quoted 7.6k retail for the new submariner 300. So 5% is probably an expensive cup of coffee.

boutique can offer so high?
Omega boutique gives 10-15% easily on Seamaster??
