You can't really over wind a self winding watch.
There's a slip clutch to prevent it from over winding the main spring.
You may over wind a manual watch but forcing it when you feel resistance.
Google it.

When someone say over wind means you allow the watch to work even though you're not using it. So service interval may come earlier.
The gears are constantly moving. Cause friction, means wear and tear will occur.
But watches in this modern age, no problem la.
My old rolex 1970 till today no service. Cause no need.

Do you let it sit and die off when you not wearing it? or u will every 1-2 day go wind it to keep it moving.

I’ll just let it wind down. Only wind it up when I’m wearing it. Different people has different preferences. So see which one you prefer.

In fact less than 1 mth the news came out. Usually end of year a lot of news on releases. Retail on steel usd$2300, bronze usd$3000. Don’t be sianz at least u got to wear it for a few mths, this bronze version don’t know when next year
