$200 is a great price if it's authentic. might cost you a few hundred more to service it, but a Swiss automatic chronograph below a thousand is an amazing deal.
You are right.
But I hate this brand and I can't explain why.
Also a Tachymeter water is not my style

I will probably buy it and try to sell it at a profit.
But not even sure if people want to buy it.

Definitely authentic belongs to someone who earns 6-figures haha
but might not have metal bracelet :(

Appreciate your inputs :)

Bro earn alot doesn't mean need to buy authentic. You should have heard stories of rich people bought fake, and people out in the streets thought it's real, just because the person is rich.

I work for an MNC, he’s someone who has reputation and is the group head (bigger than CEO).

true. Status doesn’t mean it’s not fake. But my opinion is that it is genuine. It comes with box and papers on top of it coming from someone with real status.

let’s assume it’s real
Is it easy to sell off a Tau Heuer from 10 years ago?

Tau Heuer or Tag Heuer bro? Now you know where your $200 goes.

Put it this way, I wouldn’t buy it even for $100.

You have to wait for a total watch newbie who didn’t do any research to bite.

Assuming it's real, $200 for a swiss auto chrono is a steal, and from Tag Heuer no less. If you look at entry level brands like Tissot, a modern auto chrono will cost 2k+, and from Tag 6k+.

Importantly though, you've got to like the watch.
