Basic royal oak full servicing is $1.3k + gst. :s22:

ROO is more.

but such watches best is send back to AD to service.

My wife royal oak sent to a shop at lucky plaza for full service + polish - they polished down the bezel , didn't really fix the watch (was running slow), likely didn't install the gasket properly ended up inside face started to tarnish after a few years, ... haizz.

expensive lesson learnt.

Now at AP to replace the parts, get new bezel, get new faceplate, full overhaul, etc.. $5k damage.

that's ok what 1.3k
rolex 3 hander alos 900-1k

AP polishing go back AP

Price is crazy but tourbillion is definitely costly to manufacture as well. Will rather spend the 12k usd on a Sub IMO. :s22:

If die die want tourbillon . Buy tag heuer lol
12k usd I buy jlc master control moon phase.

Preowned Nomos or Preowned Grand Seiko for a dress watch? Or other brands? Around a 4k budget.

to be honest, I am more towards GS but the price :s22::s22::s22::s22:

Can consider Cartier. Quite dressy as well.

I had a Nomos briefly - something to take note is that the lugs are extremely, extremely long, so there is a potential for a large gap which may not be to everyone's liking..

See example taken from Internet here:

The Grand Seikos in that price range are going to be too thick for use as a dress watch. If you can up your budget a bit more go for a used Rolex OP.

Like what @yukirin92 said GS at that price it’s too thick (automatic). Unless you want a 9F quartz. Less than 4k can get 9F quartz.

you should try out SBGW231 if you haven't. slimmer due to it being manual-winding.

Yes looking at the 3 hands one and also the basic time and date automatic series. Did consider the SBGW231 but the lack of PR indicator is a turn off.
