I heard now Omega no more discount from Boutique or at most 2%

I am also eyeing the green SM300 but need to see in person as that green is not easy to carry off
Boutique cannot get discount at all. They've never given out discounts. AD's can, may be small percentage, but still below retail through AD. Don't confuse boutique with AD.

Not true that cannot get at boutique - possible even a year or 2 back

But if I can get at RRP, I think it's still okay ;)
Any price is OK if it floats your boat and makes you happy. Any watch beyond a Casio F91 or stretching it to a G Shock is admittedly very, very, overpriced. No matter how many lao jiao German or Swiss watchmaker has hunched over it and polished it with the secretions of beautiful virgins, using tools forged in the fires of volcanoes, etc.

I got bored with my Sub, actually dive watches in general. The designs a bit same same cookie cutter - because the emphasis on legibility, bezel, kind of limits the design potential.

Is it a nice piece, yes. But is it current price nice? Not to me, I rather swap it for more unique pieces like my Bvlgari Octo Retrogradi. :)
