i find it tough to wear a watch that the brand itself makes me feel replusive.

i believe there's other brands that has a similar design as a oysterdate.

i think secretly, you might still feel a rolex is a rolex, the quality, the branding and everything about it, you love it. if not you won't spend money on it.

so i feel your comments is a moo point

Imho if u like something for what u deem the right reasons, u should be confident and not be affected by the fact there are people who like the brand for your “wrong reasons”.

Of cos if there are other brands that tick your boxes similarly as rolex yet do not uncheck them for reasons u associate for rolex, then those should be the right brands for u.

i just ordered a matte himalaya strap, not many pple using white strap (may backfire), but imho fan bring out the black contrast of the dial.

speedmaster is a strap monster, see many nice straps paired with it on IG will feel abit tempted.

so far i quite like the bracelet, will wear on bracelet for a while first... then slowly see how.

probably if wanna try strap will ask a strapmaker i always go to, to try customize one.

Some people wear an expensive watch from a non haolian brand to haolian but don't want others to label them as a haolian person
