yeah a rolex is still a rolex. I like it for the heritage and design. not for how non watch-enthusiast has been buying it to show off as a status-symbol.i find it tough to wear a watch that the brand itself makes me feel replusive.
i believe there's other brands that has a similar design as a oysterdate.
i think secretly, you might still feel a rolex is a rolex, the quality, the branding and everything about it, you love it. if not you won't spend money on it.
so i feel your comments is a moo point
there's seiko
its quite simple really. the product and history is good, but the branding doesn't suit me. that's all.
