Hi all,

I'm stuck at a junction hence seeking advise from timepiece gurus.

Knowing that it's almost impossible to get a brand new rolex sub now (unless I go for grey market at a f**king ridiculous price which I dun intend to). Even my next alternative choice, datejust 41 with black dial, is also on AD interest list now. The AD had advised me it could be a very long wait, especially for the sub.

Now i am pondering my 3rd choice, GS "Snowflake" or Omega SM.

I like the classic simplicity of "Snowflake" n it's renowned white dial but at the same time, kinda attracted by the sporty look of SM. My wife said both good look but of cos lah, she being the CFO, I can only pick one.

Kinda GG here, hopefully some sound opinions from the gurus can shed some light.

Maybe you can consider preowned GS Snowflake? At least you can wear the snowflake with formal attire compared to the SM which looks out of place but it all boils down to you

Snowflake is more dressy and sm more sporty and versatile,I owned a snowflake and sold it after a year as I find the bracelet not so comfortable and too light for me. Have you tried the both watches on to see how it feel?

then move on to get something else you like and will wear often. life is too short to be just waiting aimlessly for that R.

have you tried the snowflake? its titanium and its lightweight, some like it some don't. another alternative will be the also popular iwate hibeat, sbgj201 will have more wrist presence.

I have the SF but no SM. Love the lightness and simplicity of the SF. It’s on my wrist more often than my Sub C. If you find that the SBGA211 (Titanium) is too light, you may want to look at the SBGA407 (Blue Snowflake in SS). SF looks good in both business or casual.

If you are looking for a diver, you may also want to look at the Sinn U50.
