Seeking some help here from the watch gurus here.

One of the casing screws from a Larsson & Jennings watch bought years ago recently came off (more like disintegrated somehow). One of the watch shop staff at JEM told me to contact them for a screw replacement before bringing it back for a fix.

Is there a better alternative to get a screw replacement or smth?

The idea of getting them to ship a couple of tiny screws seems ludicrous.
