Did you happen to consider the spring drive version (SBGE 215)? If so, any opinions about both?

had the SBGE001 for a brief while.
didn't like spring drive, no ticks, seems life-less.
don't get me wrong, spring drive is a amazing movement, just not my thing.

saw this came out, same style with hi-beat + color combi is nice so just hoot.
they improve the bracelet clasp with micro-adjustment and their date window looks nicer now.

Tried on both at the taka boutique and the date window felt really bare on the spring drive version.

The gilt markers also looked a tad too yellow.

didn't know they improved the date window till i bought.
i got because color scheme, nice blue sunburst and hi-beat.

plus the new GS dial branding nicer. do without the seiko.
but some beg to differ, saying with seiko written on the top nicer.

pwillie has got the LE version, the one with yellow gmt hand, forget the reference number already.

The GS written at the top is indeed nicer.

I think he has the sbge245?

The red dial looks awesome, but I wonder how it’ll look in real life.
