Vario Harris Tweed straps. Quite like it. Have another grey one that I bought that I'll post soon. Took the newer versions with leather keepers as I think having tweed keepers is a very bad idea since it will rub against skin and irritate. Also the new versions with herringbone weave look cooler.

The straps come a bit stiff when new though, wish they used better lining. But after breaking in overnight on watch pillow, it's a lot better already. Should soften up over time.

yah those stiff straps initially abit gaowei. i will usually put them strap over pillow to season abit

I haven't check any yet....am thinking of narrowing down the few AD(s) before walking in....

Read a few pages back that other AD(s) seem to have better price as compared to official boutiques ?

Thanks for the replies Bros... I have a concern regarding Hesalite model which you might think unusual, perhaps can chime in to help me decide...

As I have read, Hesalite scratches rather easily.. even when you take good care of it... and i think somewhere along the line, it might reach a point where you can't polywatch anymore and it has to be replaced.

Now, only omega makes the hesalite that fits a moonwatch, and god forbid, one day it may stop supporting the current moonwatch model, or maybe even go out of business. If that suay suay happens, I'll be stuck with a watch with a bad crystal and no option to change.

On the other hand, I know sapphire is very scratch resistant and taking good care of it, it may never need to be replaced. So even if omega go bust, no problem.

But then I really like the look of hesalite over sapphire. The milky ring is a little too much for me.

Hmmm, am I being too paranoid, lol. Or are my fears unfounded?

unless u wear the watch for rough work?
else if normal wear, i think won't be that bad.

go with your heart, buy something that u will like wearing. im sure those that went with the hesalite has the same dilemma as u.

other than the milky ring, hesalite moonwatch has a omega logo etched into the crystal at near center position which the sapphire doesnt have.

but if u are one that like to admire the movement then sapphire is the way to go.

btw there's alot of hesalite moonwatch owners out there leh, so no worries lah.

Nothing is irreplaceable, there will always be left over stock left over in our lifetime. You think Seiko is still making crystals for vintage pieces? Or that all the crystals on vintage Seiko you see are original? Lol.

Also, sapphire is scratch resistant not scratchproof. Omega also charges cheaper to replace hesalite compared to sapphire..

At the end of the day, the look of the hesalite is different. That is the main reason most people go for hesalite. You don't get the signature moonwatch look or feel without it. But ultimately it's your money and watch, sapphire sandwich is by no means a bad watch or inferior choice, but choosing sapphire just because it is more wear resistant is a bad reason imho. There are other parts like bracelet or case or bezel that will not be wear resistant. Also, you wear the watch, the watch shouldn't wear you.
